Stockings

Stockings are like socks, but instead of covering just your feet, they cover your legs too! Sometimes they are made out of thin and stretchy material, like pantyhose, while other times they are made out of thicker material like wool. They're usually worn by grown-up people, especially women, and often as part of a fancy outfit or costume. Some people hang stockings by the fireplace at Christmas time and fill them with small gifts and treats. Overall, stockings are a cool way to keep your legs warm and look stylish at the same time!
