Store brand

Okay, so sometimes when you go to the store to buy things like food, clothes or toys, you might see two kinds of brands: one that you recognize, and another one that you don't. The one that you recognize is called a "big brand" and the one that you don't recognize is called a "store brand". A store brand is made by the store where you are shopping instead of a big brand company, but it looks like the same thing as the big brand.

Now let's say you see some cereal on the shelf in the store. One cereal is called "Kellogg's" and the other is called "Store Brand". Kellogg's is a big company that makes a lot of cereal, but store brand is the store's own cereal. The store made the cereal themselves and put it in a box with their store's name on it.

Sometimes store brands can be cheaper than big brands because the store doesn't have to pay for the big brand name. They can make their own version and sell it for less money. Some people like store brands because they taste just as good as the big brands, but cost less.

So, in summary, store brands are things that a store makes themselves and puts their own name on. They can be just as good as big brands, and sometimes cost less.
