ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Straddle carrier

A straddle carrier is like a big vehicle that has really long legs that can pick up and move containers. It sort of looks like a robot from a movie! It's a really important vehicle for moving big things around in places like ports and shipping yards. The legs of the straddle carrier can move in and out to fit around big containers, and then it can pick them up and move them to where they need to go. It's kind of like a crane, but it can also drive around with the container on its legs. This helps make sure that the containers are always in the right place and ready to be loaded onto ships or trucks. Pretty cool, huh?
