Straightwashing

Straightwashing is when people change the truth or facts about a situation so that it seems like only straight people are involved, even though that might not be the case. It's like when a story or a movie has all straight characters but it said nothing about any other sexual orientation which leads people to assume that only straight people exist in that world. This can be harmful because it can make others feel excluded, ignored, or even invisible. It's important to show diversity and representation of all kinds of people in media so that everyone feels seen and included.
