Stress (mechanics)

Stress is like a kind of pressure on your body when you feel worried or overwhelmed. When you are stressed, your body is ready to do something to help you cope with the situation. Your muscles might tense up and your heart may beat faster. You might also feel sweaty and start to breathe faster, so your body can take in more oxygen to help you get through the stressful situation.
