Strike for cause

A strike for cause is like when you are playing a game with your friends, but one friend is cheating by breaking the rules, so you decide to stop playing until they stop cheating.

But in a grown-up world, a strike for cause happens when a group of workers thinks that their boss or company is doing something bad or unfair, so they decide to stop working until the problem is solved.

For example, let's say that a group of workers at a toy factory notices that their bosses are not giving them enough money or time off work. They decide to talk to their bosses about it, but the bosses don't agree to change what they are doing. So the workers decide to stop working until their bosses listen to them and make things right.

This is called a strike for cause because the workers have a good reason or cause to refuse to work. They are not just doing it for fun or because they're lazy. They want to make their bosses understand that they need better conditions and treatment.

Sometimes, a strike for cause can last a long time, but if the workers are successful, they can get what they wanted and go back to work happy.
