ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Strophic form

Strophic form is a type of musical structure that is like singing the same thing over and over again in a song. Imagine you're singing a song, and every verse is the same, and you're only changing the words. For example, you could sing "Twinkle, twinkle, little star" three times, and each time you change what comes after that line. That's how strophic form works. Each verse of the song follows the same melody and rhythm, but the words are different. It's a bit like a poem with repeating lines. So if you were listening to a song in strophic form, you would hear the same music playing each time the verse is repeated, but the words would be different. It's a great way to tell a story through music because you can repeat the music to keep the same mood, but change the words to tell a new part of the story.
