ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Structuring

Structuring means organizing things in a certain way so that they are easier to understand and work with. Think of it like making a puzzle, where you take different pieces and arrange them in a way that makes sense.

Let's say you have a bunch of toys scattered all over your room. Sometimes, it can be really hard to find the toy you want to play with! This is because everything is just thrown around randomly.

But if you take some time to organize your toys, it will be much easier to find what you're looking for. You can put all your stuffed animals in one corner, your Legos in another, and your books on a shelf. Now, when you want to play with something, you can go straight to the section where it's stored and find it quickly.

In the same way, when we structure things like documents or databases, we're organizing them in a way that makes sense. For example, if we're making a list of books, we might decide to include the title, author, and publication date for each book. This makes it easy to search for a specific book, or sort the list by author or date.

Overall, structuring helps us make sense of information by putting it in logical and organized patterns.
