Sucker list

Okay kiddo, a sucker list is when some people try to trick you into giving out your personal information, like your name, address, phone number or email address. They might do this by asking you to sign up for something, like a contest or a free gift.

Then they will add your information to a list, called a sucker list, and sell it to other people who want to try to trick you too. These other people might send you junk mail or try to scam you out of your money or personal information.

So it's important to be careful about giving out your information to people you don't know and to always ask your parents or a trusted adult before you give out any personal information. Does that make sense, kiddo?
