Swashplate

A swashplate is a type of mechanical device used in helicopters to help them fly. It looks like a round plate with a small ball attached to it. The swashplate is part of the helicopter's control system. It is connected to the controls that the pilot uses to make the helicopter fly. When the pilot moves the controls, the swashplate moves too. The movement of the swashplate helps move the blades on the top and bottom of the helicopter so they spin and lift the helicopter off the ground.
