Sympathetic magic

Sympathetic magic is a type of magic where we think that two things that are similar can be connected. For example, if you have a lock of someone's hair, you might think that you can use it to make that person do something, like make them love you or make them come closer to you. In sympathetic magic, you might think that by using the lock of hair, you can influence the person that it belongs to.
