TV transmitters

TV transmitters are devices that send signals from a TV station to your TV so that you can watch your favorite shows.

Think of it like playing catch with your friend. Your friend throws a ball to you and you catch it. The TV transmitter is like your friend who throws the signals to your TV and your TV catches it.

But how do the TV transmitters send these signals to your TV?

They use something called electromagnetic waves. These waves are kind of like invisible strings that carry the signals from the TV transmitter to your TV. It's kind of like how sound travels through the air. You can't see it, but you can hear it.

To make sure that your TV can catch these signals, you need to have something called an antenna. An antenna is like a special catcher's glove that your TV wears to catch the signals.

So, when you turn on your TV and choose a channel, your TV sends a message to the TV transmitter using the antenna. The TV transmitter then sends the signals through the electromagnetic waves to your TV. Your TV then decodes those signals and shows you the picture and sound of your favorite show.

And that's how TV transmitters work, like playing catch with a friend using invisible strings and special catcher's gloves!
