ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Table of divisors

Have you ever played with building blocks? Imagine you have a big stack of blocks and you want to divide them into piles of different sizes. A table of divisors is just like that, except instead of blocks, we're dividing numbers.

Let's say we have the number 12. We want to know all the different ways we can divide 12 into smaller numbers. We can make piles of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, or 12 blocks. These are all the divisors of 12.

We can write them down in a table like this:

| Number | Divisors |
|--------|----------|
| 12 | 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 |

The number 12 is at the top of the table, and all its divisors are listed underneath it. Each divisor is separated by a comma.

We can make a table of divisors for any number we want. It helps us understand how that number can be divided into smaller pieces. It's like building blocks for numbers!
