Tafsir

Tafsir is a type of written explanation about the Quran, what Muslims believe is the word of Allah (God). Tafsirs tell us what words in the Quran mean, and why they are important. They help us understand the deeper meanings of the Quran. Without a tafsir it could be difficult to understand the Quran.
