Tamil diaspora

Have you ever moved to a new place away from your original home and family? Well, that's kind of what the Tamil diaspora is all about.

The Tamil people live in a region called Tamil Nadu in India and also in a place called Sri Lanka. Some Tamil people have moved to other parts of the world like North America, Europe, and Asia for different reasons like work or education.

When these Tamil people move to a new place, they form a community and try to keep their cultural identity alive. They celebrate their festivals, speak their language, and cook their traditional foods.

This group of Tamil people who have moved away from their original home and formed a community in a new place is called the Tamil diaspora.

They stay connected with their original home and also support causes related to their Tamil culture and language. This helps keep their traditions alive even though they are living far away from their homeland.
