Tax noncompliance

Tax noncompliance is when someone does not pay the taxes they owe to the government. This is like stealing from the government because the government needs money from taxes to pay for things like schools, roads, and parks. When people do not pay their taxes, the government can't pay for these things. Taxes are like an obligation everyone has to help make sure their community has the things it needs.
