Technological evolution

Technological evolution is like a game of telephone. Technology starts off as an idea. People work together to make the idea into a reality, which is called inventing. As people use the invention, they come up with ways to make it better, which is called innovating. These improvements to a technology can happen over and over again, which is called evolution. Sometimes these evolutions can lead to a completely new kind of technology that works very differently from the original invention. That's how we end up with things like computers, phones, and robots, which are all technologies that have evolved from simpler inventions over time.
