Technological transitions are changes that happen when a society moves from using one type of technology to another. For example, when societies moved from using horses and carts to cars and trains, that is a technological transition. Technological transitions can also be when a society moves from using things like typewriters to using computers. These transitions can help people in many ways, like helping them do things more quickly or more easily.
