Temperature control

Temperature control is like trying to make sure you are not too hot or too cold. You know how you put on a jacket when it's cold outside, and take it off when it's hot? Similarly, we use different tools to control temperature around us. In a room, we use a "thermostat" to set the temperature we want. Think of this like a remote control for temperature. When we set the temperature to 70 degrees, there is a thermometer in the room that checks if the temperature is too hot or too cold. If it's too hot, the thermostat tells the "AC" (air conditioner) to turn on and cool the room down. If it's too cold, it tells the "heater" to turn on and warm the room up. This way, we can always be comfortable no matter the weather outside!
