Spacecraft thermal control

Spacecraft thermal control is like making sure that a spacecraft, like a rocket, doesn't get too hot or too cold. To do this, engineers and scientists put materials on the outside of the spacecraft that help keep it from getting too hot or too cold. They also use special machines called radiators to keep the temperature just right. Radiators work by moving heat away from the spacecraft, so that it has a temperature that is just right for the instruments and other parts inside the spacecraft to work properly.
