Tent city

Tent city is a camp made up of tents. People use tent cities as temporary places to live when they don't have anywhere else to stay. A tent city can be made with just a few tents or it can be made with hundreds of tents. People living in a tent city often have to share resources like food, water and bathrooms. They also have to learn to get along with the people around them because they are all living in a very small space. Tent cities are usually set up in parks or on vacant lots.
