The Man-Machine

The man-machine is a way of talking about how humans and machines can work together. Machines are machines like computers, robots and other advanced technology that are made by people. People and machines work together so that they can do things faster and more efficiently than either one could do alone. For example, a doctor might use an X-ray machine to look inside of someone's body and help them figure out what is wrong. The X-ray machine takes the picture, and then the doctor looks at the picture to make a diagnosis. The doctor and the machine working together can be much faster and more accurate than either one could do alone.
