The Structure of Scientific Revolutions

Scientific revolutions are when scientists make big changes to the way they think about something important. These changes can be in the form of a new idea or theory. For example, hundreds of years ago people thought the world was flat. Then, some scientists decided that the world was actually round, which was a huge revolution in the scientific world. Sometimes, a scientific revolution can come from new ideas or technologies, or from making connections between things that were thought of as separate before. Each revolution can turn something we thought we knew upside down, and it can lead to whole new ways of looking at the world.
