Thermoelectric generator

A thermoelectric generator is a device that takes heat from one place and turns it into electricity. It works by using something called the Seebeck effect. This means when you put one side of the device in a hot spot, like a fireplace, and put the other side somewhere cool, like a pool of cold water, a small current of electricity will start flowing. This electricity can then be used to power things like small lights or motors.
