Thin-slicing

Thin-slicing is a way of making decisions quickly. It means that you can come to a conclusion and make a decision without having to look at or even consider a lot of information. For example, if you want to buy a snack at the store, thin-slicing would mean you make a decision quickly, deciding based on only a few pieces of information such as the price or the size of the snack.
