Time stretch dispersive Fourier transform (TSDFT) is a way of measuring how much a sound travels over a certain amount of time. It does this by taking a sound wave, stretching it out so that it has more time for the sound waves to move, and then measuring how much the waves have moved over that amount of time. The amount of movement is called the frequency spectrum. The TSDFT shows the frequency spectrum in a graph, so that you can see how the sound is changing over time.
