ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Trade-off

Trade-off is when you need to make a choice between two or more things and you can't have them all. It means that when you choose one of them, you have to give up the other.

For example, if you have only $10 and you are hungry, you might decide to buy a hamburger or french fries. You can't have both because you don't have enough money. So the trade-off here is that if you buy the hamburger, you have to give up the french fries and vice versa.
