Trademark troll

A trademark troll is someone who tries to make money by buying or registering trademarks but not using them. They usually claim that other people are using the trademark without their permission, and then demand money to let them keep using it. Usually this is not a legal demand, as they don't actually have any rights to the name, but they still try to take advantage of people who don't know better.
