ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Training analysis

Training analysis is like playing a game where you need to figure out what you need to do to get better at it. Let's say you're learning to play a new game like soccer, and you want to become a pro player. In order to become amazing at soccer, you need to practice and figure out what you're really good at and what you need to work on. That's where training analysis comes in!

Training analysis helps you figure out what you're doing well and what you need to improve on. Think of it like a report card for your soccer skills. You might be awesome at running fast, but maybe you're not so good at dribbling the ball. By analyzing your training, you can figure out where your strengths and weaknesses lie and come up with a plan to improve.

To do a training analysis, you need to pay attention to how you play soccer, and also get feedback from others who are watching you. Your coach might tell you what you're doing well, and what you need to work on. You might also use video footage of your games and practice sessions to see where you're making mistakes.

Once you've done a training analysis, you can come up with a plan to improve. If you're not so good at dribbling the ball, you might spend more time practicing this skill. Or, you might find a teammate who is really good at dribbling and ask for their help. By working on your weaknesses, you can become a much better player overall!

Doing a training analysis might seem like a lot of work, but it's actually really fun! You get to think about how you're playing the game and what you need to do to become even better. And if you keep practicing, you might just become a pro soccer player one day!
