Transformer

A transformer is something that changes electricity in one form into electricity in another form. For example, you may have seen big transformer boxes on power lines outside your house. This is a transformer taking electricity from the power line and changing it into the electricity that comes out of the outlets in your home. It's like a special wizard that understands how to turn a special type of electricity into another special type.
