Transit oriented development

Transit-oriented development (TOD) is when buildings, shops, parks, and other places are built near public transportation like subways, buses, and trains. This makes it easier for people to get around without needing to drive their own car. For example, if you work in a city with public transportation, you can ride the bus or train to get to your job. This helps reduce the amount of cars on the road and makes it easier and faster to get to places.
