Treetrunk coffin

A treetrunk coffin is exactly what it sounds like - a coffin made out of a tree trunk. Think of a tree trunk like a big, long straw. When someone makes a treetrunk coffin, they hollow out the inside of the trunk so it's like a big, long tube.

It might seem a little strange to make a coffin out of a tree trunk, but people have been doing it for a very long time. It's a very natural way to bury someone because the coffin is basically a part of nature. When you put someone in a treetrunk coffin and bury them, they become a part of the earth again.

Some people really like the idea of being buried in a treetrunk coffin because it feels like they're going back to nature. Other people might not like the idea because they don't want to imagine being buried in something that looks like a big stick.

Either way, treetrunk coffins are just one of many options you have when it comes to burial. Some people choose to be buried in a traditional wooden or metal coffin, while others choose to be cremated. The most important thing is that the person who has passed on gets a respectful send-off that honors their memory.
