That's what we call "trial and error". It's when we try different things to see what works and what doesn't work. Sometimes we learn from our mistakes and try something different, and other times we might get lucky and find the right answer on the first try.
It's like cooking a new recipe. You might have to try making the dish a few times, adjusting the amounts of ingredients or cooking times, until you find the right balance that makes the dish taste good.
So, trial and error is all about experimenting and learning from our mistakes until we find the right solution or answer.
