Triclocarban

Triclocarban is a type of chemical that is sometimes used in things like soap and other personal care products. It's a lot like another chemical you might have heard of called triclosan. Both of these chemicals are added to products to help stop the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms (tiny living things that are too small to see with your eyes).

Basically, triclocarban helps keep things clean and stops germs from spreading. However, some people are worried that using too much triclocarban might not be good for our bodies or for the environment. That's why some scientists are studying triclocarban to see if it could be harmful in certain situations.

For now, it's still okay to use products that have triclocarban in them as long as you use them according to the instructions and don't use too much. It's also important to remember that washing your hands with plain soap and water is still one of the best ways to keep yourself healthy and clean.
