Trilobite

A trilobite is a type of extinct creature that lived long, long ago. They were like little bugs that lived in the sea and had hard shells all around their bodies kind of like a snail or lobster. They had three parts to their body, which is why they are called trilobites. They had a head part, a middle part with legs, and a back part. Trilobites were one of the first creatures on Earth to have eyes and were able to see in all directions. They came in many different shapes and sizes, from the tiny ones that could fit in your hand to the big ones that were as big as a person. Although they are no longer alive, their fossils can be found all over the world and help scientists learn about what life was like a long, long time ago.
