Tropical deciduous forest

Hi there, little one. Do you know what a forest is? A forest is a place where there are lots of trees, animals, and plants living together.

Now, a tropical deciduous forest is a special kind of forest that grows in places where there are different seasons, like summer and winter.

During the summer season, it rains a lot and the trees in the tropical deciduous forest grow lots of leaves. This is because they need to make food using the sunlight and water. The animals in the forest also drink the water from the streams and ponds.

But when winter comes, it doesn't rain as much, and the trees in the tropical deciduous forest lose their leaves. This happens because they need to keep their moisture to survive during the dry season.

During the dry season, animals like monkeys, deer, and tigers have to look for water in the ground or in other places. They also look for food in the trees and bushes that still have leaves.

So, in a tropical deciduous forest, the forest and all the animals and plants living in it change with the seasons. It's like a big, living puzzle that's always changing.
