Okay, so imagine you live in a really hot and humid place, where there are lots of bugs and animals around. In some of these places, there are tiny little things called germs that can make you very sick. These germs are called tropical diseases.
Now, when these germs get inside your body, they can cause lots of problems. For example, some of them can give you a fever, which makes you feel really hot and sweaty, and your body might even shake. Other tropical diseases can make you have diarrhea, which means you have to go to the bathroom a lot and it's not very fun or comfortable.
Some tropical diseases, like malaria, can come from a bite from a mosquito. This is why it's really important to wear insect repellent and to sleep under special mosquito nets if you live in a place where there are lots of mosquitoes.
Now, the good news is that sometimes doctors can give you medicine to help you get better if you get a tropical disease. Still, the best thing is to try and stay healthy by washing your hands a lot, eating well, and staying away from sick people.
