Tropical dry broadleaf forest

There's a type of forest that you might find in warm and dry places called a tropical dry broadleaf forest. In this forest, the trees have big, wide leaves that help them catch the sun's rays. The dry part means that it doesn't rain very much there, so the trees have to be really tough to survive without a lot of water.

The trees in this forest are also special because they can hold onto water really well, which helps them stay hydrated. They have big roots that can dig deep underground to find any water that might be there.

Lots of different animals live in this type of forest too, like monkeys, lizards, and birds. They like to eat the leaves, fruits, and nuts that the trees provide.

Overall, the tropical dry broadleaf forest is a special place where the trees are tough and the animals are happy to call it home.
