Truth claim (photography)

A truth claim in photography means that someone is saying that their photo is true or accurate. But, just because someone takes a picture doesn’t mean it automatically tells the truth. Pictures can be manipulated or edited to show something that isn’t really true. For example, someone might take a picture of a toy car and make it look like a real car by using special computer programs to change the color and add details. That’s why it's important to be careful when looking at pictures and make sure you know if it's a true representation or not.
