Two-wheel drive

Okay kiddo, so you know how cars have four wheels, right? Well, some cars only have two wheels that help them go forward. These cars are called two-wheel drive cars.

Now imagine you are riding a bicycle with only two wheels. When you pedal, the power from your legs goes into the chain, which makes the wheels spin and move the bike forward. In a two-wheel drive car, instead of your legs powering the wheels, it's usually an engine that supplies power to just the two wheels.

Some people prefer two-wheel drive cars because they are usually lighter and simpler than four-wheel drive cars. This means they might be more fuel-efficient, easier to park, and more fun to drive! But they may not be as good at handling rough or slippery roads because they only have two wheels helping them grip the road.

So, that's basically what two-wheel drive means. It's a type of car with only two wheels helping it move forward. Pretty cool, huh?
