Umarell

Well, a "umarell" is an Italian word that refers to retired people who like to watch construction sites and observe the work being done. Basically, these are old folks who have nothing better to do than watch people building things for fun. Imagine when you go to the playground, instead of playing on the slide and swings, you just sit on a bench and watch other kids play. That's what umarells do, they just watch workers with hard hats and tools building things, sometimes for hours on end. Some people think it's weird, but others find it interesting to see how buildings and roads are made. Either way, umarells are just people who like to watch construction sites and no, they don't get paid for it.
