ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Unconventional computing

Unconventional computing is when computers are made out of things other than electronic chips, like enzymes or even DNA. Scientists use these kinds of computers to solve problems that traditional computers are not very good at, like understanding things that are very complex or difficult to explain. For example, a computer made out of DNA might be able to help scientists learn more about how diseases like cancer begin and spread.
