ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Underground hangar

An underground hangar is a place where planes or other vehicles can be hidden and protected from things like bad weather, attack, or curious eyes. It's like a secret hideout for vehicles. But instead of being on the ground or in an open area, they're safely kept inside a tunnel or space that's dug into the ground.

Think of it like a big underground garage, but even cooler because the entrance is often hidden, and there might be things like security gates or sensors to make sure only the right people can get inside. The vehicles can be moved in or out on special elevators or doors that open up to let them in and out.

So, the underground hangar makes sure that vehicles are kept safe and protected, and it can also be used as a secret storage area. It's just like having a special place to keep your toys where nobody else can see them, except it's way bigger and fancier than any toy box you've ever used.
