Unintended consequences

Unintended consequences are things that happen that people weren't expecting or weren't trying to do. For example, if you try to fix one problem, you might make another problem even bigger. It's like when you try to put one pebble in your shoe to make it fit better, but then the other pebble makes your shoe too tight. Unintended consequences can happen in all kinds of ways.
