Unit injector

Okay, kiddo, imagine you have a bag of candy. Each candy is like a drop of fuel that goes into a toy car engine to make it go vroom vroom! Now, the engine needs the right amount of candy drops at the right time in order to go smoothly. That's what a unit injector does - it makes sure the right amount of fuel goes into the engine at the right time.

A unit injector is a little machine that sits inside the engine and does its job super fast. It has a pump that pumps fuel from the gas tank up to the injector, and then the injector squirts a tiny bit of fuel into the engine’s cylinder. This happens really quickly, like a sneeze!

The cool thing about unit injectors is that they can control the amount of fuel that gets squirted into the engine. If the engine needs more power to go up a hill or something, the unit injector can squirt in more fuel. If the engine doesn't need as much power, the unit injector can squirt in less.

So, basically, a unit injector is like a tiny candy dispenser that gives just the right amount of fuel to the engine to make it go as fast or slow as it needs to go!
