Universal basic income

Universal basic income (UBI) is money given by the government to all citizens regardless of whether they work or not. It is usually a set amount of money given each month. The goal of universal basic income is to give everyone enough money that they do not have to worry about having enough to buy basic needs such as food, housing, and clothes. UBI is meant to give everyone a more equal chance of being able to meet their basic needs and have a good quality of life.
