ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Urban agriculture

Urban agriculture is when people living in cities, like New York or Chicago, grow their own food. People who practice urban agriculture grow fruits, vegetables, and sometimes even animals like chickens, on land, rooftops, or in other "spaces" around the city. Growing your own food helps the environment because it is better for the air, water, and makes the city look nicer. It also helps people eat healthier and gives them a connection to the food they eat.
