ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Value chain

A value chain is like a group of steps that are used to help make something. Each step in the value chain adds a little bit of value to the thing being made. Think of it like baking a cake. All of the steps, from measuring the ingredients to putting it in the oven to decorations, are all part of the value chain. Each step adds something new to the cake, like making it tastier or look prettier, until it's finally finished.
