Vector analysis

Vector analysis is a type of math that deals with using arrows, called vectors, to show how two things are related or how one thing affects another. Vectors are good for analyzing the direction and size of the relationship between two things. It can also be used to calculate distances and angles between three or more points. To understand vector analysis, it can help to think about pointing one finger at a specific spot in the sky - the length of the arrow (or finger) is the size, and the direction that your finger is pointing is the direction. Vector analysis is also used to help describe movement, force and velocity.
