Verb

A verb is a word that shows what a person or thing is doing or what is happening to them. It's like the action word in a sentence! For example, if someone is running, the word "running" is a verb because it shows what the person is doing. Other verbs could be things like "jumping," "eating," or "sleeping." So anytime we want to describe an action or event in a sentence, we use a verb to do that!
